Kraig, my other half, is making Tortilla Soup today.
He roasted red peppers, shallots, poblanos, habaneros, jalapenos, onions, fresh garlic and is using a little “masa” (dough to make tamales) for texture and a light corn taste. Holy Frijoles! (Yea, there are black beans in there too).
He cut corn tortilla strips for the finishing touch.
I’ve had a cold for the past week, so this heat and flavor is going to be the perfect remedy!
