Ordinary Stain

It’s one of those days
When life gets in the way.
The sky seems to say
“You blew it.”

Sitting all alone
In a suburb home.
Your life was on loan
But you forgot to renew it.

Give me everything.
Take all.

I’m an ordinary stain
on an ordinary wall.

Repeating mindless;
Repetition falls.

Ordinary refrain,
on an ordinary call.
